OBJECTIVE:
*The Wayland Anderson Ballet Project will give area students the opportunity to further their knowledge and understanding of classical
and contemporary ballet on a professional level.
DETAILS:
*Project will be held at: 155 West Wesmark Blvd. Sumter, SC 29150
*No housing is available.
*Students are responsible to bring their own lunch.
*30-35 young artists will be accepted to participate in this four week
ballet intensive that will offer students personalized training.
*Students will study ballet, pointe, variations, partnering, stretch,
repertory and modern.
*The "Few Good Men" program will develop an appreciation for dance
in young men. The male dancers invited to join the ballet
project will receive full scholarship.
*There are a few merit based scholarships available for students who
live outside of Sumter, SC.
*The ballet project will premiere an original one act balled called "Recycled."
(NOTE: Only Level A students who attend all four weeks
will be allowed to perform.)

HOURS:
Monday through Friday, 5-6 hours per day (depending on their level).
